Mom & Littles: Yoga, Story, & Painting

About Event:

Kids ages 3-10 (plus a parent) are invited to an event to explore the spirit of community, the beauty of nature, and the power of faith and imagination.

We'll enjoy a read aloud story, Rose's Garden. We'll use our inspiration to move our bodies through yoga, mimicking nature and exploring community  ~ slowly and mindfully creating shapes with our bodies while breathing and moving, encouraging creativity, laughter, and self-observation.

Finding our calm, we'll sit together for a meditation by painting while each family selects colors and brings to life their very own Tea Kettle with the option of adding on tea cups and saucers for each child to customize their own. 

At the end of class, Accidental Art will collect the Tea sets to take back to the kiln for firing. Each child will take home a paper flower activity.

Accidental Art will care for our painted Tea sets at their studio (while firing) and completed sets will be ready for pick up in one week. If you’d like to also add on the “Rose's Garden” book, you may order and pick up with your tea kettle in one week :)

Parents may reserve one spot for each family (up to 3 children with adult) to paint together one tea kettle. You may add on tea cups with saucers if family members would like to have a piece to paint independently.

Encourage children to utilize their tea kettles on a regular basis to explore imagination, community, and meditation.

This event is in collaboration with Accidental Art. Event will be held at Live Unprocessed Studio at 5270 Northland Dr NE Suite D.  Tea kettle pickup will also be at the Live Unprocessed Studio.
