Here's a quick review of our 5 tips, questions to ask yourself, and action steps to begin to develop your mindset focused on a lifestyle centered in optimal health (i.e. taking care of yourself the best way you know how in order to achieve a life lived well)

Food Mood:
Check Yourself
- Connect to your body's communication. Your body communicates via symptoms.
- Nourishment includes what you eat, do, and surround yourself with.Try beginning a food mood journal to start to understand your body's communication.
- This creates a feedback loop to start to eat more intuitively.

Make Eating An Experience
- Use all your senses and naturally begin to improve digestion.
- Your body responds to your sensory experience.
- Each of the 6 "tastes" stimulate a different organ system. Smell & mouth feel stimulate enzymes used to pre-digest food even before chewing.
- Identify your habits & challenges
- Create 1 intentional experience with self-nourishment everyday

Love Yourself.
Love Your Food. Value Your Energy.
- Consider where you invest your money, time, energy.
- How does this apply to your nourishment vs your expectations of yourself?
- What are your distractions & self-limiting beliefs when it comes to eating for optimal health?
- Acknowledge this is a longterm lifestyle change that you desire
- 1 intentional change each month that is aligned with your desire

Own Your Role. Take Action.
- Take accountability: you are your gatekeeper. And you know more than you give yourself credit for.
- Stop wasting energy searching for external answers.
- Take action by:
- Eliminating 3-5 things you hate doing/eating or that you're shaming yourself for
- Identify your 3-5 go-to meals (what you know) & expand on these using small changes
- What do you love and how can you incorporate more of this?
- Identify road blocks -what's stopping you? Fix it. Learn it. Change it.

Honor Your Sixth Sense: Intuition
- Close your eyes and picture someone who has ideal nourishment, someone you admire.
- What qualities does this person have?
- After identifying qualities, acknowledge that these are YOUR qualities that you desire to awaken within. They're already present. You need to use them.
- Give yourself compassion & celebrate where you are succeeding (small everyday changes)
- Let go of the stress of expectation and instead enjoy this path of learning to live in tune with your intuition
- Ask yourself: does this align with my desire? If not, can I adjust or do I need to let it go?
