About Christy

Christy is a 2x- 200 hr RYT certified Yoga Instructor specializing in Trauma-Informed, Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative Yoga.  
Her expertise in Trauma-Informed Yoga is reflected by her intentional and warm teaching style.
In her own journey, Christy found yoga as a safe space to heal and reconnect with her body.  Her mission as an instructor is to support you in showing up for yourself with gentleness, building self-awareness, and nourishing a sense of safety in your body and mind. 
With a passion for yoga accessibility and a deep admiration of the healing power of yoga, Christy is excited to be a part of your journey.

 This class is breath + movement focused, and is the fastest-pace class on the schedule. You’ll move through traditional Sun Salutations to warm up the body and connect with the breath, and be led through through a series of movements that bring flow and focus to your practice. You’ll always be offered options for different levels of accessibility.

Monday 10:30a- 11:30a  Sign Up

Gentle practice offers lots of accommodation and options for accessibility to get into postures. Gentle Class is all about helping everyone find the version of the postures that work for their bodies! You’ll being exploring the fundamental postures as well as working into the more challenging classes: and we look forward to assisting everyone as they figure out how to meet their needs! Perfect for gaining more stability and flexibility, too!


Sunday 6:30p-7:30p Sign Up

Just like it sounds: Restorative is all about accommodating different levels and needs throughout this class, you’ll get to use lots of our studio props! With assistance from blocks and bolsters and blankets, you can explore your comfort and flexibility in different postures. You’ll spend more time enjoying each pose as they become more comfortable for the body, the mind can also come to a place of rest. You’ll leave feeling restored.

Private Yoga Session

1 Hour | $79

Trauma-Informed Private Yoga Session:

These sessions are all about guiding you to a space of awareness, safety, & calm within. 

Gentle movement, vagus nerve exercises, breathing exercises, and meditation are wonderful tools that will be offered to you, supporting you on your healing journey.

Communication in these sessions will be inviting. you always have the choice of whether or not to take part in a movement, breath practice, etc. 

This is your session. 

The trauma-informed yoga approach is intended to help strengthen your body awareness & empower your body in decision-making. 

There will be no hands-on physical assists, scents or music. The lighting will be soft & there will be minimal distractions & stimulation, providing you with a calming & simplified space.

 Each class will be structured in a similar way so you will know what to expect when you walk through the door.


General Private Yoga Session:

Are you looking for a place to build your yoga practice? 

Or perhaps a calm sympathetic space to connect with your body? 

These private sessions are tailored towards you and your needs. 

I will offer you a space to connect with your body, advance your practice, and build a deeper self-awareness. 

In these private sessions I will meet you where you're at, whether that's supporting you in gentle poses, breaking down poses to help build your understanding of the alignment, adventuring into intermediate or advanced poses, introducing Pranayama breathing techniques to help relieve stress or tension, and/or diving into other areas of yoga (philosophy, mudras, etc.)



Restorative Yoga Private Session:

 Do you need a quiet space to release the stress of our overly-stimulating modern-day lifestyles? Or perhaps you're in a difficult season in your life and need a space to be still and to let go of tension.

In these private sessions we will utilize props (blankets, bolsters, sandbags, blocks) to nestle you into a cozy cocoon of support in a series of yoga postures.

Each posture will be held for 5-10+ minutes. Supportive adjustments in each pose will be offered, with your consent.

With the support of your props and a tranquil ambience, you will enter deep levels of relaxation. As you enter this calm state, your nervous system has the opportunity to restore itself. 

Restorative Yoga is a gentle option for inviting ease, releasing stress, and creating spaciousness in your body. A meditation and breathwork will also be offered.
