Paddle board experience is helpful, but not required.

You should be comfortable with the water and have be at a fitness level that will allow you to paddle and/or move for up to 60 minutes.

Paddling may be done seated, kneeling, or standing.

Yoga experience is not necessary.

Basic postural awareness is helpful to explore postures in a new way. 

Wear something comfortable that you are able to move in. You may wear a swim suit, shorts or thin yoga pants and short or long sleeve shirt or tank top.

Do not wear heavy clothing, but something light that will dry quickly. 

Swimsuits are not required. 

Keep in mind that you may fall into the water so water friendly attire is recommended. The nature of our classes keep you ON your board; however, if you challenge yourself, you may be more likely to get wet.

Life jackets are required to be on your board per state law. You are not required to wear your life jacket (optional based on preference), but you must have it on your board. 

Tethers/Leashes are required on all boards, as well. While paddling, we recommend wearing your tether. When anchored, we often tether our paddles so they don't float away while we relax or practice postures on the boards.

Cell phones and personal belongings should be left at home or locked up on shore.  You may also bring a waterproof bag for keys or phones that you attach to your board. Personal items are your responsibility.

• You must be pre-registered at least 12 hours in advance
• If our class minimum is not reached, we will cancel and contact you
• Weather cancellations:
  • If wind is at or above 9 knots
  • Lightening, thunder, or heavy rain (light rain is welcome)
  • Unsafe conditions
• If we cancel class, we will contact you via text and/or email and offer a full refund or the opportunity to use your credit for another class.
• Weather cancellations are determined 3 hours prior to class.
• If you cancel, a full refund will be honored 48 hours prior to class. 
  • If you cancel 24 hours or more prior to class, you'll be offered a class credit. 
  • If you cancel within 24 hours, no refunds are offered.
