A gentle yet powerful workshop to reconnect with the wisdom of your body.
We’ll begin by arriving intentionally—grounding and sharing what brought each of us to this workshop. Together, we’ll explore the pelvic floor and spine, learning how they support your posture, breath, and emotional well-being.
You’ll discover how your core and organs hold tension, stress, and emotion, and how abdominal massage can support deep physical and energetic release.
Alissa will give an in-depth look at how your pelvic floor functions, as well as demonstrations to help you understand the function within your own body.
Chloe will illustrate the structure, function, and inter-connectedness of your abdominal muscles, ligaments, organs, & facia, as well as demonstrate how awareness and massage can improve overall wellbeing.
This is an invitation to slow down, reclaim your power, and reconnect with your center.
Alissa is trained through Leslie Howard to specialize in teaching how to connect, relax, strengthen, tone and lengthen the pelvic floor complex. Sitz sticks available for purchase at the event or contact Alissa at [email protected] with questions or to request to reserve yours in advance.
Chloe is trained in Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT), a non-invasive, external massage technique that focuses on repositioning the reproductive and digestive organs to improve overall well-beling. It addresses a variety health issues by improving blood and lymph flow, realigning organs, and reducing tension. To inquire about custom sessions, contact her at [email protected]
Disclaimer ***
Yoga for the pelvic floor is meant to be used as a supportive tool to actual pelvic floor therapy with a physical therapist. It is not a way to diagnose or fix pelvic floor dis function. Learning to better understand the pelvic floor and to tap into its power within your yoga practice and daily activities will allow you to go deeper into your practice and maintain pelvic floor health in general.
